A Georgia Thanksgiving

Joe and I drove down to Atlanta for a much-anticipated Thanksgiving with family.

Thanksgiving day with the Muchnicks--three cooks in the kitchen makes for a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Julianne graciously encourages us new daughter-in-laws to introduce our own Thanksgiving traditions to the meal. Natalie made corn souffle, which we all enjoyed.

Time for a dog portrait. 50 pictures later...we finally get one with all three looking at the camera. Jack looks so poised.

Since we live in an apartment, Joe and I store some of our keepsakes in his parents' basement, including our instruments from high school. With a little coaxing, I got all with a musical background to dust off the old instruments and toot-a-loo a little song. Watch the video below (Julianne's saxophone can only play one note, which doesn't stop her from joining in).

Go Team Go!, the only song we all know

On to the Wynn/Brown/McDouglad Christmas with my family! This year, with 4 little ones around, we all noticed how lively family Thanksgiving had become. Since Joe and I aren't around to many children day-to-day, we loved joining in with the children's games.

Here's a little video of the most popular game of the day, my dad playing catch with Lachlan and Ian.

Elizabeth, the newest to the family, was sweetie during it all, and managed to take two naps.

Forget the post-meal nap for the rest of us! Everyone bundled up for a walk to the playground.

With Christmas coming up, can't wait to see everyone again soon!
