I'm officially adding "calculator" to my list of emergency toys. Toys that I know will keep Grace happy, quiet, and occupied for at least 60 seconds while I pay the cashier, finish my phone conversation, hit "send" on an email, ... you get the idea. So far my emergency toy list includes the cell phone, TV remote, baby monitor, laptop, and diaper bag.
Grace found my calculator last night and was delighted by all the buttons and fancy screen. (You may be wondering what a stay-at-home mom is doing that requires her to whip out her graphing calculator...very important quilting calculations.)
Oh, the excitement!
